Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari invited opposition leaders, including Maryam Nawaz Sharif, to an Iftar dinner.
The opposition parties’ meeting also includes delegations from Awami National Party (ANP) and Jamaat-e-Islami. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leaders Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shehbaz are also attending the meeting.
Among other leaders attending the Iftar dinner are Aftab Sherpao, Liaquat Baloch, PTM leaders and Shah Awais Noorani.
Akhtar Mengal, Mahmood Khan Achazkzai and Asfandyar Wali Khan have excused from attending the meeting due to prior personal commitments.
Sources informed that the PPP chairman would try to bring leaders of opposition parties on a single page, while discussion would also be held on the economic situation of the country and a public protest campaign against the government.

Meanwhile, State Minister Hammad Azhar said that Maryam Nawaz has virtually sidelined Hamza Shehbaz by taking the centre stage today.
