Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said some elements are involved in conspiracies and chaos to secure their nefarious designs.
The State Minister said a planned propaganda against the country is being carried out on social media.
Announcing a package of financial assistance for the family of former SP Tahir Dawar, who was abducted from Islamabad and martyred in Afghanistan recently, Shehryar Afridi said seventy million rupees will be provided to the family of Tahir Dawar and one million rupees to a brother of Tahir Dawar. He said a family member of Tahir Dawar will also be offered job.
The Minister of State said the government is responsible for the families of those law enforcement personnel who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.
He said investigation into martyrdom of Tahir Dawar will be taken to logical conclusion.
Earlier, addressing a function in Islamabad today, Minister of State for Interior said government is giving priority to bringing improvement in the living standards of the people.
He said provision of better health and education facilities and protecting the environment will be given due importance.
Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Afridi said a five-member parliamentary committee will be formed to bring forth the facts regarding martyrdom of SP Tahir Dawar.
IGP KP Salah-ud Din Khan Mehsud, while replying to a question, said we are introducing e-policing system soon to facilitate the people of the province to the maximum level.
