Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA Ali Muhammad Khan on Monday took oath as minister of state for parliamentary affairs.
President Arif Alvi administered the oath to Mr Ali Muhammad Khan in a ceremony held at President House.
PTI leader wrote in a Twitter message soon after being sworn in as minister.
“Thank you PM Imran Khan for the trust deposed in me. I’ll InshaALLAH (God willing) try my level best to do justice to the duty assigned and I pray to ALLAH to help me making Pakistan a true Islamic welfare state,”.
The MNA from NA-22 (Mardan-III) is a longtime party loyalist and is considered one of the toughest spokesmen from the ruling party.
State ministries are junior ministries with an overseeing cabinet minister.
Last month, another PTI loyalist Shehryar Khan Afridi also took charge as state minister for interior.
