The decision was taken in a meeting held with the chair of chairman Justice retired Javed Iqbal at headquarter and the performance of the anti-graft watchdog was reviewed.
Taking the serious notice of the complain of delay in assessment of various cases, Chairman NAB Javed Iqbal directed all the Bureaus to complete scrutiny of the cases within two months and complainants should be apprised over the logical end of the complain.“The inquiries and probes of the cases should not take more than four months, ” he said and summoned the officer of regional bureau Multan to submit the report for not completion of inquiry within set time period of four months.
The meeting has also taken the notice for not deciding the 40 cases of Karachi and 10 of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa for five years.
